30 Days of Gratitude: Day 17

I woke up this morning with a bad hangover. No, not from alcohol, but from the thought of how angry and upset I was yesterday. How silly of me to be so upset over something I cannot control. It is what it is, so why couldn't I just make the best of it and roll with the punches.

I gave it to God and have to trust Him to work things out in His timing and in His way. God, forgive me for not turning to You sooner. Forgive me for my anger at not being able to be in control. I only want You to be in control. Help me to step away and allow you to lead.

I am grateful that His mercies are new every morning!
